BDO’s sustainability report is crafted to provide transparent insights into the company’s performance, impacts, and objectives regarding its sustainability strategy. The goal is to ensure clear communication with stakeholders about BDO’s ongoing commitments and progress.
Design Considerations and Creative Direction
In developing the visual identity of the report, careful attention was given to political sensitivities. To address these concerns, the creative approach deliberately reduced the emphasis on traditional environmental and human imagery. Instead, the design strategy centered on generating visual interest through the thoughtful use of scale, weight, and color.
Patterns and illustrative-based visuals formed the backbone of the report’s aesthetic. This choice ensured that the content remained engaging while avoiding overused visual tropes.
Outcomes
The final result is a sustainability report that is not only easy to navigate and comprehend but also visually impactful. The supporting visuals effectively enhance the narrative, connecting directly to the report’s content and overall story.
